Poznejme Česko is an educational platform designed to teach history to children in a fun and engaging way. The project is backed by a non-profit organization, Scholarum z.s., focused on children's education, aiming to make learning about historical events and locations enjoyable and immersive.

The client sought to develop this app to make learning more accessible and engaging. By leveraging technology, the organization aimed to transform traditional history lessons into interactive experiences that captivate and motivate children. The app bridges the gap between education and entertainment, offering schools, educators, and parents a tool that combines informative content with engaging, interactive features to ensure that children, the ultimate end-users, learn about history in a fun and immersive way.

The Challenge

The main challenge was to ensure that the educational content was accurate and engaging while integrating geolocation features for real-world interactions, across multiple platforms. Balancing the educational goals with the need for an interactive and enjoyable user experience required navigating the complexities of gamification and multi-platform compatibility.

Additionally, collaborating with historians and educators added layers of complexity. The project demanded a careful approach to meet the needs of various stakeholders, including teachers and parents, while making the app both educational and fun for children.

The Cleevio Solution

We tackled the challenges of developing this educational app by focusing on creating an engaging and user-friendly platform that meets the needs of both children and educators. The interactive comics as the central feature are making history lessons more appealing through gamification. The integration of geolocation allowed us to encourage real-world exploration, motivating users to visit historical sites and engage with history in a more immersive way. By incorporating rewards systems like virtual coins and customizable estates, we successfully kept users motivated and invested in the learning process.

To address the needs of educators, we developed a tournament feature that enables teachers to create competitive and interactive learning experiences, enhancing classroom engagement. We managed the complexities of content creation by collaborating with historians, illustrators, and educators to produce accurate and engaging material.

Despite the challenges, we delivered a comprehensive educational solution that combines entertainment with learning, ensuring its success as both a teaching tool and a fun experience for children.
